With all the bad reviews for Breaking Dawn, civilians, aka people who haven't read Twilight and fallen in love with the series, are baffled by the astounding box office numbers. Romance, drama, horror, humor...that's what draws us fans to this series, both the books & the movies. We're not looking for messages, morals, or anything deep (at least I'm not). It is what it is. The haters can keep on hating all they want, the critics can keep on criticizing all they want, it won't change how the true fans feel, it won't change how I feel. In my opinion, all the people involved, beginning with Stephenie Meyer who was brave enough to pen her brilliant words on the printed page, to the screenwriters, actors, directors, producers, musicians, etc., all have done a brilliant job!

When they are resentful, jealous, negative about life they will do anything to try to bring down others to make themselves feel better or superior. Well while they are being nasty- the Twilight group is happily moving on with their lives and laughing their way to the bank! Good for them- they've earned it- I will support them because they have made me happy. I agree with 40 Sumthin- I didn't go to the movie for some great message- I went to relax, dream, laugh a little, freak a little and go home smiling and sleep well that night. :)

It's the fantasy that takes me to another world to get away from my crazy life even if its just for a few hours. Its going to be a very sad day for me when this all ends. I want so bad to see part 2 but very sad that it will soon come to an end. BD part 1 was one of the best but I agree that everyone involved from begining to end has done an awesome job. I love the twilight saga and all its fans are the best.

Comment by catherine on December 7, 2011 at 8:27am: I LOVE BD1....it's the best out of ALL the twilight series!!!! it's my fave book too....I heard some PPL talking about it but WHY is it the #1 MOVIE in the world sighhhhhhhhhhhh I just think PPL have different taste that's all....I just wonder why go see it if U don't like it....
