I watch GH as well and I assumed/thought the same thing. I agree with you that it seemed pretty obvious, despite Molly not actually naming the books, that she and Michael were discussing the Twilight series.  I also like it when television shows mention and have appreciation for Twilight!

I know there was a show that I came across a few months ago in which someone said "Taylor Lautner, who's she?"-lol. I haven't watched GH in years, but I would believe that they were referring to the Twilight series, although over the past few years there have been many new vampires series that basically have about the same plot and characters in them. Stephanie Meyers made the vampire come alive again with this book series.

First off I mean no offense to the people who like the mob stories, so if you read this and you're one of those people, feel free to skip it. And this comment is more about GH than Twilight so if you don't care, then skip it too** I don't mind it when other shows talk about/allude to Twilight, but GH is the one show I don't want to associate it with. Twilight is too good for Bob Guza to draw into his mob obsessed-Sopranos rip off of a show. If GH didn't suck so supremely, I wouldn't mind it. At least it was Molly and Michael talking about it and not Sonny or Jason or Carly. When the show starts to actually resemble what it used to be in terms of writing, then they should start alluding to popular phenonmenons.**Rant over* sorry, I'm just glad someone's posted about this over here, GH has been irking me a lot lately.  Especially the whole Scrubs situation. Lisa is just...ugh. So much for Fatal Attraction

@ Katie- Sonny, Jason and Carly were characters who were introduced onto GH in the early 90s, perhaps the late 80s, so their storyline cannot be a Sopranos rip off. so maybe you should use The Godfather as a reference- just sayin.

Me two, i have this video on my profile, where Bella Thorne, a girl playing in the Disney Channel series shake it up is dancing and her friend comes out of no where in her dream telling her and i quote " if this isn't a dream, than why did you come on stage before making out with Robert Pattinson?" but but then Bella Thorne's Character mentions " Don't worry i didn't let him bit ma neck". I also feel happy that Twilight has also became a natural phenomenon!

i watch Days of Our lives and they mentioned it once when,  a teenager is talking to her older sister and her sister is telling her how she doesn't know what love is and she responds with "Hello; I've read Twilight!" lol .  Also in Easy A (this has nothing to do with it) Olive was like where's the Bible? (In a book store) The store clerk responds with, "Oh! Thats in the Best Sellers section; next to Twilight!" Lol . i love that movie and when they said it, I squealed(:

i watch GH and have for year, my favorite Soap Opera and good or bad i am a faithful fan.  i was really thrilled when Molly was talking about Twilight on the show and I immediately knew that was what she was referencing when she was having this talk with Michael.  To see this GH conversation on my favorite Twilight sigh is kinda weird since both are so important to my life.  Now all i have to do is starting incorporating Hello Kitty to all this and I will be all set (LOL).
