Red Riding Hood - The Book featuring A passage by Twilight director Catherine Hardwicke

So as I was walking around Barnes & Noble tonight (Yes I went to pick-up my Vogue with Kristen in it) I stumbled upon this little display. I stopped of course because I knew Catherine has directed the movie and I for 1 can't wait to see it. Well it has an introduction by Catherine Hardwicke and the black circle indicated that its "Now a major motion picture from the director of Twilight" I can tell you after reading the introduction I can't wait to read the book. Its written by a friend of Catherine's named Sarah Blakely Cartwright who has also had small roles in 4 of Catherine's films (I IMDB'd her...I didn't see Twilight.)  and was also written by  David Leslie Johnson (who wrote the screenplay for the movie.)  On Barnes & Nobles website there also appears to be another book called Red Riding Hood:From Script to Screen by Catherine Hardwicke & David Leslie Johnson coming out March 11 (same as the movie) which will include the Screen Play, Story Boards, Behind the Scene & other fun stuff. I for one am so excited to see this movie as the trailers look amazing. I can't wait to see Billy Burke in it as well as Amanda and Shiloh. Catherine did an amazing job with Twilight, so I hope we have no doubts that this will capture our hearts as well. I can't wait to read the book, to my disappointment isn't available on my Nook till the 25th.

I am so excited for this movie! I didn't realize that it was a book until this post. Looks like I will be making a Barnes and Noble run sometime soon :-)
