Religious Twilight-Inspired Gear

I saw this in a store at Stone Mountain in Georgia and thought that it was good marketing and kinda funny that anything can be related to Twilight, even Christianity. The company also has Christian-aimed Guitar Hero, Facebook, and Modern Warfare gear.

I always thought that...the Cullens...I mean..what they accomplished...it reminds me constantly of God's promises. God said that he wouldn't give us more temptation that we could handle. We would be able to have the strength to rise above it. That totally reminded me of the Cullens. And how Edward and Bella get married first and then have sex...that's really moral and definitely the Christian way. And then I think of The Lion and the Lamb....How Edward is the mighty lion, yet he resists temptation and watches over God's lamb and protects it. And how the "lion and the lamb lie down" in the meadow...really, as a Christian myself, there are many comparisons. That's what I find so fascinating with Twilight. How it's completely turned around and packed with moral values. It's fantastic and I really admire it. There definitely is a relation or connection to Christianity and Twilight, and it's pretty sad that some people are just so blind to it. Jesus..to me is complete unconditional and self-sacrificial love. He loves us unconditionally and will always welcome us with open arms. And then I think of Edward. I'm not saying that Edward IS Jesus. Not at all. I'm just saying that it's really following the example of Jesus and all the values. I'm just really fascinated by that. I've just never seen anything like Twilight. This bag and T-shirt definitely has a back-meaning here.

And...he promises that if you believe in him and you believe in Jesus, you will have eternal life with him in Heaven. Another comparison..? Yes, I think so. Of course, people think Twilight is dark and just really brooding. But really, it's not. It's a light. It's a conquering story just like Jesus conquered the grave. I've known about this shirt for a while..I thought it was neat. I really want to get it. I love Twilight, because I'm totally not betraying my faith by loving it.
