Rob talks about his relationships and Kristen Stewart.
The 22-year-old British actor, along side costars Taylor Lautner and Kristen Stewart, dished about the set, real-life romance and the constant attention they’re now getting. Check it:
On the rumors of Robert’s relationship with leading lady Kristen Stewart: “It becomes a joke. There was some magazine the other day about me and Kristen and when you look at it and realize it’s on the front of a magazine. You realize that people are actually reading that even though how ridiculous it is. It’s really bizarre.”
On his real-life relationships: “I’m always really worried about ruining their lives. Especially with people that aren’t famous. It’s such a massive change. I’m kind of a paranoid wreck.”
On the constant attention from paps and fans: “You see all these people and you think in one way or another that you have to please them… I’m not entirely sure still how to go about pleasing people. I generally get on with people who come up to me. It’s getting photographed… You have people who analyze your facial expressions to the tiniest degree. So you’re just trying to avoid getting photographed. You’re like, ‘Jesus you can’t win.’”

I'm impressed that RP is aware of the stress that he bring into a relationship with another, especially if she's not a celebrity herself. He has on other occasions shown similar wisdom, far beyond his actual age...an "old soul," if you will. I think that's what makes him a great Edward: RP is an "old soul" in real life, as Edward is in Twilight.

I kinda feel bad that we are all doing to this to him. Even though i wouldn't scream or jump up and down I feel responsible for all the rest. He seems like such a kind soul wish we could tell him that.

It is hard for people at make movie's because of all the magazine's and paper out here and you dont't know who to believe. And my happy that Robert is doing what he love's most. And he keeping is head under the cloud's. Most people that become fame's forget who got them there. And Robert try's to remember all fan's out here in the world. And paper's and magazine really did to leave him alone and let him be himelse around fan's and friend's.

Rob is great i really like what morgaine said about him being an "old soul" which makes him a great Edward. i have never thought of that but i think that you are right. he is so funny. he laughs at everything. in truth him and edward are very differnent. edward is always so serious. i will be happy to see Rob play a role where he laughs more and brings more of his true personality. Not that he isn't the perfect edward. it will just be good to see him smile more.......love you rob!!
