Comment by Brianna on March 2, 2011 at 5:45am I think he was talking about all of the merchandise that has his face on it. Due to being Edward his image ends up on Burger King crowns and all kinds of toys. Think about it, if that was you wouldn't you get tired of seeing your face on everything?
I think it's telling that the author included that bit about Martin. It is a direct comparison to how Rob is treated. The paparazzi hound him, taking away his privacy and making it difficult to defend oneself. And then people get angry when he doesn't do everything they want. It makes freedom a hard thing to come by. I think Rob just wants to rest, take a break from all the hysteria. This interview was heartbreaking.

“Whatever,” Pattinson says, drawing on a cigarette. “There’s nothing you can do about it. That’s the way it is. But it is weird being part of that, kind of representing something you don’t particularly like …"
WTF!!!!!
