Robert Pattinson has finally admitted what most Twi-hard fans have been suspecting all along – he and Kristen Stewart are an item.
The "Twilight" hottie broke his silence while attending Sunday's Bafta Academy Awards in London, reports U.K.'s The Sun.
"It is extremely difficult but we are together, yes," Pattinson admitted to the British paper.
Though Pattinson, 23, and Stewart, 19, have been extremely guarded about the nature of their relationship, the duo were slated to make their first public appearance as a couple at the event, however safety precautions forced their separate arrivals.
"We can't arrive at the same time because of the fans. It goes crazy," Pattinson explained. "This was supposed to be a public appearance as a couple but it's impossible. We are here together and it's a public event but it's not easy.
"We have to do all this stuff to avoid attention."
Stewart, who picked up the Orange Rising Star award at the ceremony, later joined her "Twilight" co-star at a Grey Goose-sponsored after-party at the Grosvenor House Hotel.
While inside away from prying eyes, the couple reportedly "couldn't get enough of each other."
Stewart was snapped leaving the fete with Pattinson, who is in town filming "Bel Ami" with Uma Thurman, around midnight.
The couple's next installment in the "Twilight" saga, "Eclipse," hits U.S. theaters June 30.
What do you all think.......?
