It’s not as if we’ve never gone a few weeks without seeing Robert Pattinson on the red carpet, because we have, but it’s totally felt like forever since he last stepped out. It’s actually been less than a month.Regardless, the wait was over tonight when the dashing English actor hit the streets of New York to attend the premiere of his film “Cosmopolis”.
Rob quickly arrived and made his way into the Museum of Modern Art, where the screening was being held, but despite his lightning speed of an entrance — he made an impact dressed in a cool blue “Monaco” suit by Gucci.
This suit comes from the Cruise 2013 menswear collection. Oh, how I love him in some color.
Robert arrives at the COSMOPOLIS premiere to greet fans waiting outside of MOMA!
Throughout the David Cronenberg-directed film Robert’s character wears a black Gucci suit (remember when The Fashion Courtbroke that news in December?), so it was only fitting that the screening — which was hosted by Gucci– featured the 26-year-old actor in a suit from the beloved label.
Sporting a much longer honey-roasted mane of luminous locks swept back in a bouffant of a style (taking it back to 2008!), Rob rocked the azul silk cotton notch lapel two button jacket and matching trousers with a navy dress shirt and a textured black tie.
Is it just me or does the elegant shade of this ensemble really make his light eyes pop? Then again, that could also be due to the fact that he’s sporting a little sun-kissed color barely hidden beneath his scruffy mug.
Robert completed this look with black patent leather lace up dress shoes.
Despite the media circus surrounding his personal life, let’s take a moment to appreciate a striking look when we see one.
Focus on the fashion and then go see the movie.
What’s the verdict? Do you love it — or do you love it?
