So.... if he could turn back the clock and KNOW Twilight is going to bring him fame and screaming fans everywhere; if he knew that he will end up, because of Twilight, earning lots of money, but not being able to meet his pals at the corner pub - would he NOT take the part? Would he throw away the success - so that he can concentrate on small, under-budgeted, quasi artsy productions that no one will see, that will leave him homeless and frustrated, sleeping on somebody else's couch? Hmmm....But in THAT case, he wouldn't be an actor just for the sake of it. He would be an underpaid clerk, or waiter. Well, he can't turn back the clock, so - he'll just have to put up with us, his adoring fans and no privacy when he goes to the bathroom.

I'm sure he wouldn't "take it back" look at what he's gained by doing it. But it's easy to see why he would think it would't "take off" the way it did. Serioulsy with the budget they had and how Summit wouldn't even commit to New Moon until the sales were in from Twilight, who would. The point to me that he is trying to get acrossed is he's not just doing this for the money or fame and he wants people to know that about him.

But just because Twilight did take off and he is a household name now, doesn't mean he deserves to be stalked or hounded. I'll never understand how people can do that to celebs. We don't own them, and they don't owe us anything, but that's just my feeling on it. It's such a shame how much they have to give up to do something that they love.

I hope Rob can find a way to deal with all this "hype" until the Twilight Saga movies are over with because it's not going to get any better just worse for him. I mean NM this year then Eclipse next followed by BD in 2011 not to mention the other movies he plans to take part in. I don't think money really matters to him I mean he does not flash it around at all. I think he's an "artist" and he cares about reaching out to others with his work but the fame side of all this he would rather kiss it all good bye and if something does not change soon he's just going to push us all farther and farther away this is so sad!!!!!

To be totally honest I would never take this job if I didn't know wtf it was
I mean a vampire with no fangs?!?! And then he falls for a human
And the NAME! Twilight.... id be like PASS next movie pluhleaseee
Ahahaha I mean I love the series don't get me wrong hehehe but seriously if I didn't know before yeahh....

I think the same thing sometimes too Sandra. Especially the way he talks about it..almost like a burden..even if that's not what it means he sounds like it sometimes.








Man, I have a lot of sympathy for him...

I hope he knows how much us fans love and appreciate him for moving forward in the movies.
I know its difficult for him cause I don't know if id be able to handle it either I have anxiety already and freak out for everything, so I'm just really happy he didn't back out and is staying strong for us fans.
