I think the choice has more to say about People Magazine than it does about RP.

RP is not a soda-pop celebrity du juor. He's not a cookie-cutter studio-molded two-dimensional cartoon, like those produced by the Disney franchise. He has an edge and a maturity that, if Applegate is what they consider to be most beautiful, would make him unsuitable for "most beautiful" cover.

If RP decides to continue acting, he is the type of actor that can easily transition from young to older parts. He's a beautiful face, but not just a beautiful face.

I wonder about the choice of Applegate. She's not done anything remarkable. Other "most beautiful" have been people like George Clooney, who is very accomplished (and bautiful).

I don't get the Applegate choice but, whatever, it's no slam to RP that he didn't get it.

i wont revolt. dont get me wrong i LOVE me some rpattz whenever i can get him, but i get what they were going for they wanted to show compassion and that it wasn't just beauty on the outside but on the inside as well. Christina Applegate has gone through SO much with breast cancer(most of the women in her family have it and i believe her mother died from it, so when she found that she had the gene and that she would probably get it, not definately just possibly, she told the doctors she wanted a double mastectomy just to be sure.) she deserves the front page. i love robert but lets face it there will be PLENTY more covers for him. Christina Applegate is one of my heros, she is truly a beautiful person.
