Robert Pattinson will take your Haiti donation by phone!!!

According to People magazine:

"Robert Pattinson will be manning the phones at Friday's telethon for Haiti"

I think it is kinda sad that we have to use the biggest icon to answer phone calls just to get more people to donate.. I mean, it makes sense, but it also just seems so wrong that we cant just help these people out from the goodness of our hearts.

Don't get me wrong, I'll be watching and yes, I may call in and donate more but if I don't get Rob... I won't hang up and keep calling back. I'll hope that the goodness of my heart will bring me good luck and it will be Rob answering! ;)

But I think it's also a way to reach out to a different group of people. Aka young twi fans. They know they will make more money. Even if it's 5 bucks from a 15 year old. Ya know? I haven't donated since the last aftershock. So perhaps I'll call. We haven't even herd if our child is still okay! It's so sad.

Plus I totally agree with above comments, I've donated because I want to help the victims. Not because Robert Pattinson or any other celebrity told me I should or because I MAY or MAY NOT get the chance to talk to him on the phone.

But I think the first thought in my mind calling to Telethon is to HELP someone!
