RPatz wants more of KStew's Tarts... and now you can have a piece (oh, I am so bad)...

Do you want to make KStew's Loquat Crumble that RPatz has been raving about lately? Well, here is your chance. You know what they say... *the quickest way to man's heart is through his stomach*....

Kristen Stewart - LOQUAT TARTS

Preheat oven 350F
  • 3 cups loquats (2 cans)
  • 1/2 C. juice from can
  • 1 C. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. allspice
  • 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp. ground cloves
  • Juice from 1/2 lemon
  • 1/4 C. flour
  • 1/2 C. dry cranberries

Topping:
  • 3 packages instant oatmeal (cinnamon apple flavor)
  • 1/2 C. flour
  • 1/2 C. brown sugar
  • 1/2 C. melted butter
**DIRECTIONS**

Cut loquats in halves or thirds and put in medium saucepan with loquat juice, sugar, allspice, cinnamon, cloves, lemon juice and cranberries. Bring to simmer and simmer 15 minutes. Slowly whisk in flour. Simmer 5 minutes.

Butter inside of ramekins or small casserole (pie dish). Add fruit mixture to ramekins (about 3/4 full).

Mix oatmeal, brown sugar and flour in a medium bowl. Add melted butter and mix until oatmeal mixture is buttery and lumpy.

Top ramekins or pie dish with oatmeal mixture and bake 30 minutes.

Serve with ice cream.

Enjoy!

P.S. It's really good served a little warm!

Kristen and Rob were interviewed by "Hollywood and Dine"
Kristen talked about making Loquat pies/crumbles
She said she brought them in for the press junket.

Then Robert...
Being all adorable and cute...
Talked about Kristen YESTERDAY
making a loquat crumble...
And it was
"One of the best things I've ever tasted" he said.

There is a Youtube floating around of him saying it, hence this popping up today.
