Well, I've lost count as to how many times I've gone to the cinema to watch "Eclipse," but today, I did something extra special: After the movie ended, I found an assist. mgr of the theater and asked for a tour of the projection room, specifically, a tour of the projector that shows "Eclipse." What a treat! The movie is on 7 reels (different lengths of movies have different number of reels -- a reel is a continuous roll of film wound on a cylindrical core or "spool"); the reels say "Eclipse" and the reel number all along the edge; he showed me where the reels are spliced together; and we got up to the projection room just in time to watch the "tail" of the "Eclipse" spool wind its way through the projector as the movie's end credits finished. I was drooling. The mgr probably thought I was nuts. That's how big a twilight fan I am!!! Seeing the actual reel of film from L.A. just made my day -- no, it made my year!!
