Welcome to Sheena and Stina's Fan Fiction of the Week. This week's pick: Spiral Static by Coquette

Summary: After exchanging vows, Edward and Bella head off on a romantic honeymoon. But all too soon the Cullens' post-marital bliss is threatened and Bella is faced with the most difficult decision she'll ever have to make.

STINA SAYS: I read this story a few months back and remember being hooked on it from the get go. It's extremely well written and has a very interesting storyline. The smut is good, but unlike most fics centering around Bella and Edward's honeymoon, this one has a conflict. It's also much more realistic than most fics that deal with their first time together. Coquettishness writes the love scene with danger and uncertainty, which I find very intriguing and in character. This is a must-read in my opinion. It's very difficult to come by stories that are well written with an original and actual plotline and conflict. Plus the smut is great as well ;).

SHEENA SAYS: This is another well-written story that takes a little bit of a different twist on Stephenie Meyer's version of Breaking Dawn. For the adult crowd, there's some smut, and personally I think that had Meyer written out the wedding night scenario, it would have been somewhat along the lines of this piece. There's a great storyline that will keep you reading and get your heart racing as you hurry to see what happens next. This one isn't for the faint of heart, though, and the ending is bittersweet and emotional, so ladies, grab your Kleenex.
