This Week's Pick: While You Were Gone by Laura Cullen
Rated: NC-17
Summary: What if the wolf pack hadn't interrupted Laurent before he bit Bella? This is the story of Bella being changed despite Edward leaving her to prevent it from happening.


STINA SAYS: There are many stories written during the time frame of New Moon when Edward leaves, but this one has a very original spin. There is also smut *cough*. I really enjoyed this story. I like how it could have happened if the wolves hadn't gotten there right in time. Everyone is in character, too, for the most part, so if you like a traditional New Moon story with some self loathing Edward (mmm) and some smut thrown in, this is your fic.

SHEENA SAYS: Though this is written by the same author as the infamous "List," this one isn't the same -- at least not until a few chapters in. It's an interesting story and there are points where the story is very poignant and moving, especially concerning Jacob and Edward and even Alice. There are other times, though, when there are too many different points of view. Overall, though, it's a decent read and the smut is worth getting to that point.
