Um ok, like it's a horrible thing that you make millions of dollars and are loved by 75% percent of the world...This guy is talking like what happened to Rob was murder. Please, Rob could potentially be the next Brad Pitt, millions of young actors would trade their lives to be that lucky!

It would be a difficult thing to live with that level of fame.  Although there are certainly bonuses when it comes to getting work and things like that, it would still be mind-blowing to be caught up in that.  Imagine being shadowed by photographers and fans 24/7 and having your every moment caught on camera and screened across the world via the internet.  It would be very hard to stay sane, not to mention polite, with that kind of pressure.

Doesn't have the ring of truth to it, Shiloh.  I think he'd give his right testicle to have the fame and the opportunites that have come with the fame that RPatz (and the rest of the ensemble cast) has.  I don't think anyone seeks out a career as an actor only to be 'sort of' successful.

You can be successful as an actor without that kind of fame.  There are plenty of actors who work steadily without being followed everywhere by paparazzi.  A lot of actors are just in it for the work.  What Rob endures is at the extreme end of the spectrum.

yeap i also  agree with @Connie Cullen he just don't wanna admit that he would LOVE be in Rob's possition and that's why he said that and yes, i know is hard live that life, pararazzi and had no privacy but now he has many things and opportunities so... But thank god Rob is Edward

Some dumb interviewer asked Rob if he was sorry that he had done Twilight cuz of all the fame and subsequent lack of privacy, etc.  Rob didn't hesitate to say 'No' why would he want to go back to his life before which was pretty much just sitting around most of the time with nothing to do.  Life is just full of 'little tradeoffs' and I think RPatz is OK with the tradeoff he made!  LOL

To each his own i guess. And in fairness to Shiloh he is right in saying RPattz handled it really well - Rob does and good for him too, because he has now more projects among other things. Yet, i can't help but think, if Shiloh or another guy would play Edward - will he still get that same adoring fans and same breaks as Rob is currently having and experiencing right now?! well...  ;)
