Something about the New Moon trailer...

After watching it the first time..I was really upset with the ending. I mean..we all know that Jake doesnt change in front of Bella when she's with Laurent. However, one of my friends just told me that they're 2 different scenes!! In the one with Laurent, she's wearing a backpack..and in the one with Jacob, she's not. Makes sense huh?? Plus, I think her jacket is a different color too.

Of course, we won't know for sure until the movie actually comes out. But I made a bet her, that if she's right, then I have to buy her something pretty. LOL!!!

Comment by Cat on May 31, 2009 at 10:38pm: It's definitely 2 scenes. At first I thought the scene where he changes is the part where he and Paul get into their little tiff. Not sure right now. You see... in one scene he is topless and in the one before he changes he is wearing a tank top as well. So there are multiple scenes in the trailer.

But, really, the CG peeps had better do better than that in the Jake-shapeshifter transformation. One of the criticisms of Twilight was that scenes that could have been done really well by CG simply were not (when Edward runs up the hill with Bella on his back, and the CG of the sparkly skin in the sunlight).

That's totally understandable, seeings as Twilight was really a short-budgeted film.

But after the success of Twilight, there is really no reason to have anything BUT an incredible transformation of Jake into his shapeshifter form. It would be better to not show the whole animal but just show brief angles and glimpses.

Comment by tet_d on June 1, 2009 at 12:00am: My mind went still to the goodbye scene in the forest. I want to hit PAUSE to feel the sadness, shock and remorse of Bella with Edward's goodbye. But when the scenes shifted to the werewolf - ugh, I was disappointed with the graphics. I don't see the cliff scene there, I was hoping it will be included in the trailer.
