But that's what makes Edward's love to Bella so special! He just wants her to be happy, and if that's with Jacob, then so be it! Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Edward and am totally Team Edward. But he is willing to let her go if that's what she wants. I just hope to find someone to love me like that one day (in which case I'll NEVER let him go! LOL).

i couldn't disagree with what you said. i know and i felt how strong his love for Bella really was... it's more than unconditional, that he was too willing to give up his existence knowing that she took hers when he left her. i sympathized with him, but i just didn't like Bella putting up Edward in a situation where he had to be insecure with Jacob . i just don't believe that a single heart could fall in love in two TOTALLY DIFFERENT persons. considering how much effort and unselfishness Edward has given her. not that i hated Bella or Jacob in this matter, that will never happen, especially when i knew how much Jacob loved Bella. Bella just kept on reassuring herself that she will never forget or fall out of love with Edward, but there she was, confusing everybody with her switching emotions...=)

Oh, believe me. I was majorly pissed at Bella and Jacob at the end of Eclipse when she kissed him. I bawled for Edward. LOL. I love Bella, but she annoyed me at times, especially when it came to Jacob. I just try to put myself in her position. And I believe you can fall in love with two people at once. I just never believed once that her heart truly was with Jacob. It was with Edward, and I always knew that they end up together!

yeah, i felt the burning love Bella had for Edward... but that was nothing compared to how much Edward loved her. He gnawed the bitterness of being away from her in order to keep her safe from him - from his family. yet, she confused herself - and the readers - with her unreliable emotion. she should have weighed everything first before doing or anything first.
