Stephenie Meyer chats about 'Breaking Dawn' birth, wedding dress, cast, and how part 1 might end!

Life for Stephenie Meyer has changed, big time, compared to when 'Eclipse' was filmed.  She has up-rooted her family and brought the husband, kids, tutors, and dog along for the ride to Baton Rouge and Vancouver filming.  Now Stephenie can be on set everyday and worry about life at home.  Home is with her.

USA Today had the only journalist invited to join the 2 day fan event with Stephenie Meyer this weekend.  All 10 fans got to travel to Vancouver and have discussions with  Mrs. Meyer.  But USA Today got to spill the deets today!!!

What does SM think of Kristen's performance as a vampire, "She's created a new character. I was really impressed. I've only really seen her as (the human) Bella, so to have her step up and change it in the right way — she didn't have to talk to me. She knew. She knows the character so well now. She has really good instincts, and she looks amazing."

I was excited and to read about Renesmee's birth scene, "the most blood we've ever seen in the series", but was disappointed slightly to read, "I don't feel like it's graphic. You're not seeing it, but you know what's happened."  I want to see it!!!!

Stephenie compares the characters to the actors which is funny.   "Rob is more like Jacob than Edward. He's goofy, he's funny, he doesn't take much seriously. But he can turn Edward on like that (she snaps her fingers) when he needs to be Edward. Taylor's who we hang out with most. He's a lot like fun, happy Jacob."

Meyer says the first Breaking Dawn movie may end "when Bella opens her eyes as a vampire. That's the way it's been shot. They can still do it any other way, but I think that's the general idea. You kind of have to get there in the first film. That way you have all the time in the world to explore being a vampire and those exhilarating first moments."

Possible book in the future!!!  One question she won't answer: whether the werewolf/shape shifter Jacob and Renesmee, the human/vampire hybrid child of Edward and Bella, could ever have children. (Jacob is a teenager, but baby Renesmee is aging at an accelerated rate.) "That is a question I'm reserving the right not to answer, because there is a chance I'll go back to their story."

Read more about Stephenie's fan experience and several books she is working on....Host outlines, mermaid book being 1,000 pages, and a newly mentioned project with a 17 year old heroine that she describes as "cool."

Stephenie is awesome.  I am so happy that she is taking so much of her time to be a producer for BD.  I have loved the other 3 movies but Breaking Dawn will be absolutely the best one.  Can't wait for the wedding scene:)

So true Taylor is like Jacob - I've always said/thought that!

Is that a hint, Mrs. Meyer, that there's a continuation of the Jacob/Renesmee story?? Interesting....Wait now, lets look into this possibility. Is there life to Twilight after Breaking Dawn? Twifans and Twihards all over the world will jump for JOY! if there is another story to come. I would see the continuation being much more logical, than the continuation of Midnight Sun. I know, it would be great to have the story told in Edward's words, but she noted she wasn't going to finish it since it was leaked. If she does, that would be great, but there are so many possibilities with the Jacob/Renesmee story (although I'm not for this imprint at all, as well as the whole Quil/Claire imprint). We could get the story of their life after BD, how they all live happily ever after (sarcasm, sorry - can't help it), how the Jake/Bells friendship progresses from then on.... oh BOY! I smell a fanfic in the midst! :) Anyway, there are so many things that can happen with that book.... S. Meyer, you sly woman - always keeping us on our toes! Lovesssssssssssss it!

I am totally enthralled by the whole Twilight Saga through your books and the movies and I, as an ardent fan, implore you to continue with more on the storyline. Many other fans in my area have seen, like myself, the potential through further stories of prequells of the Cullens as well as more adventures for Edward and Bella, including more confrontations with the Voltori. This is not just a whim of youth. I'm not only a guy, but I'm 55 years old and I'm presently working on a book myself.

I'm feeling jealous of the fans that got to talk to her. I am going to meet her someday, I don't care what it takes, I'll die trying! I'm counting down the days for the official guide!!!!!

I'm not too exited about the Jacob and Nessie story though, unless she dumps him for Nahuel
