New interview with Stephenie Meyer she talks about The Host & writing :) ♥

"It's so beautiful. I just really want people to see it," Stephenie said of the Saoirse Ronan-starring film. "I'm hoping they embrace it. It's just so beautiful. It was just a joy to make too. The actors on that were so much fun, and [director] Andrew Niccol—what a darling, wonderful man."

Given the box-office success of her other supernatural saga, it wouldn't be surprising if Stephenie were a little apprehensive about all those great expectations.

"I feel like it's just such a different thing," she said. "I'd love for it to be able to be separate from 'Twilight,' but I know that's not possible. But it would be great. It has such a different feel, and it's such a different world."

A world Stephenie hasn't left behind, as she's currently working on the second installment—"The Seeker"—of the planned trilogy.

"I have a good day here and there, but I think it averages out to a paragraph a day," Stephenie said of her writing progress. "It's so slow."
