Steven McKellar of Civil Twilight Talks Robert Pattinson Resemblance
So this is a totally random question that has nothing to do with your music or South Africa or anything, but Steven. Do you ever have people tell you you look like Robert Pattinson from the Twilight films?
Steven McKellar: [laughs and smirks] Every. Night. Every night, man. I’m trying to grow my hair long, and I’m trying to grow a beard to, you know, try and disguise myself so people will stop making that connection. And the fact that we’re named Civil Twilight doesn’t help at all. It is very irritating, sometimes. I’m serious; a lot of people will come up to us and think we named the band after the series and ask us questions about it. But what’s worse, think of all the people that don’t come up and ask us that and just assume that we named the band for the series. [laughs]

Cut off from the nose down n I can see a younger rob. Not near as hottttt as Rob but there's a SLIGHT resemblance

Okay, I've had the privilege to meet Steven and he is by NO MEANS cocky..I would get pissed too if people just assumed that I named a VERY good band after a book series for girls..which btw they didn't...look up Civil Twilight....and no he doesn't look like Rob, but to call him ugly and blah blah blah isn't very nice either...he's not a bad looking guy! He just doesn't look like Rob! Imagine if you got told you looked like someone you weren't..it would get annoying....plus not EVERY person in the world is a Twilight fan...I wouldn't expect a 20-something year old guy to be a Twilight fan. But to insult someone because they don't like what you like is just rude!
Sorry for the rant, but I love this band and I won't watch them be ripped to pieces b/c he said he doesn't want to look like Rob or he doesn't like Twilight.

....i dont know who the hell these guys are..but that picture up there doesnt show one that looks like rob at all...lol they are all kinda scruffy...is that it?

So i went and googled them, there are some pictures where his eyes resemble very slightly robs when he is singing..but...other than that i dont see how people can confuse them lol hes not bad looking, but...its obviously not rob
