It seemed as if Team Taylor/Twilight fans had hit the jackpot! Taylor was scheduled to attend Friday's Madden NFL 10 Pigskin Pro-AmFlag Football Game featuring other celebrities such as Brody Jenner Donald Faison Jeremy Piven Jason Patric Maria Menounos Jesse McCartney Allison Sweeney and Ving Rhames. What made this event even better was the fact (other than Taylor showing up,) it was for FREE! But the event was limited to a certain amount of guest since it was being held at a local park in Malibu, CA. I was one of the lucky few to hurry and get tickets to go to this event. Fully ready, my friend and I drove about 100miles out to Malibu for the event. Yes, I REALLY wanted to see Taylor Lautner that badly. When my friend and I showed up to the event, we were early by 3 full hours which gave us the best chance of getting the best seats for the event. While waiting we started to meet many Twilight/Taylor fans who had come to Malibu for the same reason. We all started chatting about how much we loved Taylor, thought he was cute and couldn't wait to see him play some football. When going in to the arena, all the Taylor fans (including me and my friend) sat next to each other in the first three rows. We had a plan to cheer Taylor and get his attention since his team was supposed to be standing in front of our bleachers. We took out sharpies, started writing on our Jersey's "TEAM TAYLOR" and were getting hyped up. More and more people kept coming in and we could tell many girls were here for Taylor. One group of girls that later came in really stood out. What I call true Taylor dedication. A group of about 10 girls came to the NFL game all wearing blue shirts, each with a letter ... so when they all got together it spelled out "TEAM TAYLOR" My friend and I agreed that THAT was true Taylor dedication! By the time the game was about to start, Taylor fans started to get anxious. We started to see the celebrities hit the field and play some football but no one could see Taylor. My friend asked some girls sitting on a different set of bleachers if they knew if Taylor was still going to show up. The latest news they knew was that Taylor was still going to show up. When the recording for the event began, all the celebrities were being introduced one by one, but no Taylor. That's when it dawned on us, Taylor did a no show. :(
I was bummed, no doubt about that, but I felt worse for all the other fans that came. I could tell a lot of them were bummed just by the looks on their face. Many of us fans still stuck around for the game just in case he was a surprise player but that never happened.
After the game, my friend and I caught up with the "TEAM TAYLOR" girls and asked them what they thought about him doing a no show. They seemed bummed too but were in high spirits regardless. I asked if I could take a picture of them and they so graciously agreed! (Thank you TEAM TAYLOR GIRLS!!!)

So this brings me to my final point, the fans may be bummed about him not showing up.. heck we still don't know why he did not show up, but we hope that next time he is scheduled to appear at another event, he will be up and running with his twitter and informing fans if he will or will not show up somewhere. (Come on Taylor! Give us a heads up next time! HAHA)

WE STILL LOVE YOU TAYLOR BUT HOT DAMN DON'T LEAVE US HANGING LIKE THAT!
