The Advocate's article about Little Ashes Robert Pattinson

It has been a long time since an article has touched me emotionally. This is a very small glimpse into the life and love of Salvador Dali and Federico García Lorca. They are played by Robert Pattinson and Javier Beltrán respectfully in the new movie Little Ashes. I love Salvador Dali's work and was, to be honest, a little surprised that Robert Pattinson was chosen to portray him. But after watching the trailers and video clips I must say, from what I've seen he has done a beautiful job.

I want to point out that The Advocate is a gay publication and the article is written by a gay man who shares some of his person experiences. Also there are some references to sex in the article. So if you are not comfortable with it, or aren't grown up enough to handle it please don't read the article.

Comment by Cali Twilighter on February 5, 2009 at 8:39pm: Thanks guys. I really do love Dali and from what I've seen Rob got a lot of his mannerisms down and the facial expression just right. There isn't much video of Salvador Dali so he really had to do his research.
