All this bothers me so much! have tried not to let it bother me but I'm sick of seeing THG on all the Twilight sites, its something totally different! its not even vampires and why are we celebrating the Twilight records being smashed?? :o(

At least Twilight still has the record for opening night...

1 Harry Potter and Deathly Hallows P2

2 New Moon

3 Breaking Dawn P1

4 Eclipse

5 Hunger Games

But i agree with Maya. I dont understand why people always compare Hunger Games, Twilight and Harry Potter. Theyre all SO different and theyre all successful in their own right.

I'm sure the Twilight cast won't mind the gossip sites going after THG cast with all the trash and vile rumors.

so what if it beat twilight? it's not gonna make twilight fans love the saga any less. RECORDS ARE MADE TO BE BROKEN ANYWAY. don't get me wrong, i love the HG books (except Mockingjay), but i still prefer a timeless, powerful love story over something that's been done before. Running Man and Battle Royale really stick to mind when it comes to THG. but then again, that's just me.

Twilight fan do not worry. There is still Breaking Dawn 2 in November and it will do great in the box office and break box office records. SO see you people at the movie in November 16th 2012 :) Twilight Rules!

It kinda makes sense that THG made more money since the movie was in IMAX and neither Twilight, New Moon, or BDpart1 were in IMAX

I really dont care if the hunger games ade more money because e know hw tilightfans are adwe know our stuff. I am greatful that the hunger games are the new IT thing but I don't see it being as big as harry potter and twilight saga. There is not much too sell and evenif there was I would not really care because I like books on vampires and wizards. I am not going to be interested in Polotic type books. ButI still wish them luck

It had been a long time since I ever came to this site, mainly because I don't like twilight anymore, so I just wanted to say that Twilight OBVIOUSLY is no comparison to The Hunger Games. And yes, they're two very different stories, one is about depending on a man to survive and the other is about actually being independent and strong. One movie's got a shitty actress potraying an emotionless character, and the other's got an actress who got nominated for an OSCAR. (I don't want to get to deep in both stories differences) So ..Vampires? Hell, no, those spoiled brats aren't!

One of the things that got into my nerves and made me dislike Twilight is how "twihards" brag about the Cullens, who barely appear on the movie, but for Edward Cullen. They followed actors whose characters were supposed to be "oh, so fantastic" but who ended making a scene or two.

There's nothing wrong in the hunger games, and there's nothing wrong in you liking Twilight or dislking THG. I gave my opinion because I can and because I want to.

So TWILIGHTERS GET OVER IT! Did you really expect Twilight would be the bomb forever? There are and there will always be better movies that Twilight.

So yeah, go on. Finish me off. Don't care. Won't be coming back here. You can even delete this comment, but that'll just make you stupid argumentless.
