This is a depiction of a true story. It's the story of Cherie Currie and Joan Jett. In real life Joan was 16 and Cherie was 15. When you are looking at the screen in the film it's not Dakota and Kristen but Dakota and Kristen playing the role of Cheri and Joan. It's wasn't meant to be hot. It's was meant to describe a time, 1970s, when there was excess and anything went. Quite frankly there are scenes in the film where Dakota is supposed to be having sex in the bathroom with the roadie and where the roadie and Dakota are in her hotel room, that while you see nothing, give the impression that she is having a drug induced sexual relationship with this man which to me is more risque and pushed the envelope more.

I always do this states: these are two actresses who are here representing the lives of two rockers. Kristen's position is the same as RPattz in Little Ashes

Cassie Nicole...do you mean the movie or the kiss. I saw the movie it was very good. Kristen and Dakota excellent performances. Kristen had Joan Jett down to the last detail but it wasn't an impersonation it more acting. Dakota was awesome. Kary, I loved Little Ashes. The cast of Robert Pattinson and the young man who played Garcia Lorca was spot on. Again in both they are playing a role of real people and had to represent the story as genuinely as possible and I think that they succeeded in both movies.
