TheHollywoodReporter: 'The Host' to be Released by Open Road Films in March 2013
Saoirse Ronan will star in the film based on Stephenie Meyer's best-seller.
Open Road Films has closed a deal for U.S. distribution rights to Saoirse Ronan starrer The Host—based on Stephenie Meyer's best-selling novel—and will release the film on March 29, 2013.
It’s the first Open Road Films title to be dated. The distribution company, headed by veteran executive Tom Ortenberg, is a joint venture of AMC Entertainment and Regal Entertainment.
Director Andrew Niccol is scheduled to begin being shooting The Host in February 2012 in Louisiana and New Mexico from his adapted screenplay.

Really? Wow, Stephenie Meyer should be glad Saoirse Ronan's going to be in The Host. She's a remarkable young actress, whatever role she's in she'll do wonderfully.

Saoirse Ronan is a very deep and soulful actress -- a true winner for this role. @Bella -- Saoirse was in "Atonement" (2007), "The Lovely Bones" (2009), and most recently, "Hanna" (to name a few).

wow, i can't wait to see the movie! but it's almost two years of waiting... anyway, i think it's worth it :)
