THR Exclusive: Kristen Stewart is in negotiations for 'Snow White'
Kristen Stewart is the fairest them of all.
The Twilight star is in negotiations to star in Snow White and the Huntsman, putting her on the road to topline the movie alongside Viggo Mortensen and Charlize Theron for Universal’s take on the fairy tale.
The deal is not done and could still fall apart, but both sides want it to happen.
Stewart is a name that Universal kept coming back to since acquiring the project. Still, it went through a series of screen tests with actresses such as Riley Keough, Felicity Jones and Alicia Vikander. As The Hollywood Reporter previously reported, Stewart was still being courted as late as last week, and Universal finally made an offer over the weekend.

OMG ! I hope she gets it ! It would be REALLY cool to see her portray Snow White ! ! ! :D It'd be funny to see Jane Lynch play the Evil Queen too . (:

I'm sorry but have you guys seen the movie Snow White? She's cute and happy, unless this Snow White is going to be different I really don't think Kstew can play this part. Idk if you just like this idea because you love Kstew but she's not right for the part. Emily Browning would be perfect. Go on google and compare Snow White and Kstew you'll see the difference.

Mrsjasperhale01- its not snow white, its snow white and the huntsmen kind of like a brother grimm fairy tales which is going to be a darker version. A huntsman is ordered to take Snow White into the woods and kill her but instead he chooses to let her go and the two are evidently chained together for part of the movie as they make their escape and he teaches her to fight for herself. So you don't have to condescending about it.

If this were the disney version of snow white then, yeah, Emily Browning would be great...remember when everyone thought she'd be a good Bella..I'm sorry but her features are just too soft to play Bella..and esp. to play this version of Snow White....I'm not necessarily sure how Kristen will be in this role...so I will just have to wait and see....

I'm sorry, but I can't see her doing this type of role, I always see Kstew in serious roles. It's probably just because I don't really have a good imagination for it, I mean if you asked me last year about Amanda Seyfried doing the part of little red riding hood I would have laughed in your face, but now that seems like a pretty cool movie. I guess we'll just have to see.

Kristen WILL be portraying Snow White differently from how we all think she will. The plot of the story is that Snow White is taken under the Huntsman's wing and he teaches her to defend herself. She's obviously gonna be making some bad*ss moves after a while and because it's not going to be a Disney movie it will certainly be different. this time Universal is basing the story on the Grimm Brother's Snow White, not the way Disney has portrayed the story.
