THR Exclusive: Kristen Stewart is in negotiations for 'Snow White'
Kristen Stewart is the fairest them of all.
The Twilight star is in negotiations to star in Snow White and the Huntsman, putting her on the road to topline the movie alongside Viggo Mortensen and Charlize Theron for Universal’s take on the fairy tale.
The deal is not done and could still fall apart, but both sides want it to happen.
Stewart is a name that Universal kept coming back to since acquiring the project. Still, it went through a series of screen tests with actresses such as Riley Keough, Felicity Jones and Alicia Vikander. As The Hollywood Reporter previously reported, Stewart was still being courted as late as last week, and Universal finally made an offer over the weekend.

It's NOT The Disney version people! It's a darker different take on the story.
If it's something she wants then I hope she gets it! I'd love to see her in it.

@l lopez - I couldn't have said it better myself, totes agree with you that 'Kristen doing a sexy version of Snow White would help her career' and 'she needs to get herself more out there with movies like these...' and this looks like more than just a 'sexy' role for her, I think seeing her do the action aspect and the Brothers Grim version would be great to watch.

Kristen is an ok actor, she ALWAYS fits the roles she gets physically but I'm not sure about the acting though.

I think Kristen will do what is best for her so I wish her luck in whatever she decides. Being a huge Kstew fan; I will watch whatever movie she is in. I have seen every movie Kristen has been in and I have loved them all; what an amazing actress (and just a good person). Your fans love you Kristen!!

@kady_cullen - where did you find the script? That's disappointing if you found it boring cuz it seems like this could be a very interesting, grown up interpretation of this 'fairy tale'. I'm looking to see something like this, not sure Red Riding Hood and the Wolf that they've recently done is going to do it for me.
