Tokio Hotel on New Moon Soundtrack?

Here is the message posted recently on tokiohotelnetwork.com :

"A message for Twilight fans, supposedly written by the director of New Moon, Chris Weitz, surfaced today regarding the soundtrack for the movie. Although bands like U2, Blue October, Muse, The All-American Rejects, Milow, Behind and the possibility of Paramore was mentioned, there was also a band we didn’t expect - Tokio Hotel. The message stated that they were debating as to whether or not to ask Tokio Hotel to write a song for the New Moon sountrack."

I wonder whether it's true or not (note that if it was true it'd be probably posted on StephenieMeyer.com) ? What do you think? Personally I'm not a fan of Tokio Hotel and I simply don't like their music. For those who are not familiar with this band, Tokio Hotel is a German band and their lyrics are "laced with "emo" angst, wrapped in a flamboyant pop-rock package" following ABC reviewer.

It was just a joke of a fansite on 1st of april!

(And I'm happy that it was only a joke- TH in New Moon would be *arghs*)

Comment by Spunk Ransomette on April 3, 2009 at 11:05am: This was an april fools joke. they usually don't pick the music until the editing process. maybe a couple pf songs from artists who, like paramore, showed an interest in writing a song for it. but they still have to wait to see what scenes are where and which scenes get tottally edited out to figure out if the song even fits anywhere.
