We are hearing rumblings that a Twilight fan has been hit by a car while trying to cross the road to Hall H at the San Diego Convention Center. The fan later died with head injuries at the hospital. We do not have the name of the fan that has died, but we are deeply saddened by this loss and our hearts go out to her friends and family at this sad time.

SAN DIEGO -- San Diego police responded late Tuesday morning to a fatal accident involving a pedestrian and a vehicle downtown.
The woman was hit by a Subaru Outback station wagon at 5th Avenue and Harbor Drive around 9:20 a.m., according to San Diego police.
According to emergency personnel, the pedestrian suffered serious head injuries and was transported to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead.Westbound Harbor Drive is closed to vehicle traffic between 5th Avenue and 8th Avenue. Eastbound traffic is being let through. Northbound 5th Avenue to Harbor Drive remains closed for an investigation.Friends of the woman interviewed at the scene said she was in town for Comic-Con.
Rumor is that when the Hall H line was being moved, a group of Twilight fans were across the street and saw the movement. In a panic they ran across the street. One fan tripped and fell in the road and was run over and then rushed to the hospital.
