it looks like a birth mark to me i dont think its a scar it doesnt look like one and if its a tattoo then its a really weird tattoo lol :)

I've seen people who get broken arms have these scars after they have those pin things hooked to their arms to keep the bone in place.

I think that's a scar but not a real one...I think they made it for the film...he's the oldest wolf...maybe it's from, I don't know, some battle...
