GM: What do you make of the current vampire craze? It really shows no sign of abating.

SM: It doesn’t seem to be abating. It’s one of those unanswerable questions because when you think it’s one thing, it turns out to be another. … I think in the teen world, there’s a beautiful romance about that stuff. I believe this year the Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart characters [in the "Twilight" saga] have a baby. It’s this perfect romance, this perfect ideal. Ours isn’t quite as fluffy as that … our characters and the way that Alan works is, as soon as a character has a semblance of happiness, he digs a h*** for them to drive into.

Just because Twilight's main basis isn't gore and sex doesn't make it fluffy. In fact, True Blood inches more to pornography with a decent storyline instead of a vampire show. This goes to prove exactly how little he or the Vampire Diaries cast knows about Stephenie Meyer's vampires. Because I remember an article where the title said "We're Better Than Twilight" with Ian, Nina, and Paul under it.

Bella's pregnancy sure as hell wasn't fluff, either. Broken bones, vomiting up pure blood, the baby being ripped out by teeth is fluff? Wow. Bruises so brutal that it looks like ink has been spilled and dried on Bella's stomach is fluffy? In order to have a decent anything, it does not have to require sex, language, or blood. I swear, people in Hollywood have so little respect for one another's work.

Having to fight off a vampire army and its leader is fluff? Racing to an Italian city to save the one you love because the vampire royalty would possibly murder him is fluff? Being attacked and nearly killed by a tracker-vampire is fluff? No offense, but True Blood and TVD need to actually look into what happens in the saga, instead of just basing their opinions off a trailer or two.

He doesn't have fans like twifans, twihards or whichever that would support him or his "FILM". Singular meaning he will be stuck on it LOL <sorry moyer fans>.

so both true blood and vampire diaries and other vampire movies nowdays should thank twilight if twilight wont release u wont b dere and be succesful

i didnt even knw true blood exist till twilight comes out..

so we thank twilight for giving us great movies and then great drama series

Comment by SHIRY on June 29, 2011 at 1:47am: Its MA sol figue....dont kill me girls but i thinks hes right dont get me wrong i have the twilights book since they starting to come out and the sookies stackhouse series 2 he says its fluffy because its YA and true blood its no even a paranormal romance its almos a thriller the books don show explicit sex scenes like they do in the series but i like thm both .....i lke the thriller n the suspense i just how the main character always end up f¥*@# up n the guys like nothin happen cause they r supernatural beings ...but i stick to bookss...<3 U guys!!
