Twilight DVD release party @ Borders PR
Well here i am reporting my experience of the release party last night:
Well i got there about 8:30 pm and got my wristband securing my special edition dvd (btw i was #174),
Upon registry they gave me a ballot to vote for the Twilight movie award
And here are the winers of such:
Best quote: "You are my life now" (Edward)
Funniest moment: Edward reads minds in restaurant("sex.money.sex.money.cat")
Best Bella-Edward moment:First kiss
Best OME (OH MY EDWARD) moment:Edward extricates himselffrom the kiss by springing backward to the wall
Best overall scene:The baseball scene.
Best music moment:The baseball game ("Supermassive black h***"-Muse) (my fav)
Best vampire effect:Sparkling
Best Vampire:Edward(Robert Pattinson) (duh no brainer there)
Best baseball player:Edward
Best Hair:Edward
As u can see Edward swept w the awards lol.
After the awards they held a look alike contest( although i thought none of them really looked like them)
Oh!! i almost forgot they had a surprise for us!!! a video of some of the cast thanking us for attending the dvd relase from the set of new moon it was Taylor,Rob,Kristen Ashley and Rachelle.It was like 3 mins of it but very cool since i know they were not coming down to pr i was happy with that.I didint recorded beacuse of camera malfunction(:-( )
but i got a pic
After that they had a trivia contest,and then all that was left it to wait till midnight to get my dvd,around 11:30 they started organizing people in the line waiting for 12mn to come.
I have to say they were very organized,and while i waited i did a little bit of twifans promo to some of the people there, countdown to midnight came and around 12:30am i had the dvd in my hands ( YAY!!!!)
all in all i expected more people but since Hot Topic and walmart had similar activities i guess it was divided,but it was fun although this time i was one of the very few twimoms(a lot of little anoying screaming tweens).But me and my girls enjoy it.Well i guess thats it. TWI-OUT ...

I know what you mean about the screaming tweens. LOL. I'm only 24, but I still couldn't handle that! I also don't think my Borders showed that video. :( I'm glad you had fun, and I agree with the others, I love your shirt!!!!
