Twilight Examiner clears up Breaking Dawn and Eclipse rumors

There ever so awesome Amanda @ Twilight Examiner helps clear the air on some rumors that have been floating around Twi-space:

"In the off-time between The Twilight Saga: Eclipse's release and The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1 and The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2's filming, a few rumors have popped up that can be now be officially addressed.

For starters, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn is not formally casting with local auditions - despite whatever information you may have come across. The only casting director associated with the picture(s) is Deborah Zane, and she has set up an official e-mail account for casting inquiries. Again, e-mailing her will be of no benefit at this time because no nationwide casting call for Breaking Dawn has yet been created. Right now, no doubt, a lot of casting call advertisements are floating around, but they are scams and should be avoided.

Second of all, there is not going to be a name change for "Renesmee" in Breaking Dawn. Twilight Lexicon caught onto the rumor yesterday and received confirmation that the rumor is completely untrue.

Finally, no official release date has been set or announced for The Twilight Saga: Eclipse on DVD. Unless it is an international release confirmed by one of the international distributors, it is false and premature.

So, for now, know that this is official information regarding any potential rumors being spread about the Twilight Saga!"

So Twifans, are there any other rumors that you know of floating out there... if so comment and I will do my best to find out the truth...

Comment by Dottie on August 20, 2010 at 11:46am: The ashley and kellan rumors were about them asking for more money and that was clear up along long time ago. All the cullens have been officially ("cast") re-done contracts as far as summit has said in the past.
