So I have started to notice things in my life that remind me of Twilight. Just wondering if anyone else has had the same experience.

examples.

1. I was getting ready to open a present and was really excited. My boyfriend [who has never read twilight] said to me, "Be careful dont get a paper cut." I instantly began cracking up.

2. I was mad at my friend and stomped my foot. His reaction, "Did you seriously just do that?" again I'm in hystarics.

I'll try and think of others and add them. have you guys had anything similar??

Absolutely! My boyfriend for 4 years & I were talking while watching TV in bed & he said things that reminded me of Edward/Twilight! Mind you he is not a literary fan or anything, he saw the movie once with me that's about it. He said. "You know how much I love you? I would do anything for you, protect you, I would die for you" I just sat there and listened, I love it when he gets into his sweet moods. Secondly, he said " My life revolves around you now, I just want to be a good man for you, protect you, take care of you." I nearly fell out of the bed! It's so " You are my life now!" Mind you we had a real bad patch for about a year there where he was so cranky & selfish, & we broke up for a couple of months, nothing like losing the one you love to change a man! He's become this new man that I always wanted in the last few months, it's so wonderful. I think it's because he's gonna be 30 this year! Good luck with your sweetie Annielou!

I've found that I have started using quotes from the movie and the books in my everyday life. The scary thing is that nine times out of ten, the people to whom I'm talking, always get the reference. I definitely have the right kind of friends, huh?

I agree! Now if I can only convince my man to read "Twilight", he liked the movie but listens intently when I tell him all the little bits and pieces that are referenced from the book & elaborate on the backstory. So, hopefully some of it sunk in and he'll have a better experience watching "New Moon", It's like Harry Potter, there is so much in the books, that you have a different experience from someone who read the book!

he claims that it is too "romantic" and just a chick novel. Ive tried to convince him otherwise and he wont budge. he wasnt a fan of the movie either.... i tried to tell him the movie and the book dont even compare!!! oh well. i work in a pharmacy and got to wait on mr. cullen today. haha. i laughed out loud!
