'Twilight' Scribe Will Return To Pen 'Breaking Dawn' & Summit Still Might Make It A Two-Parter (Our Take? Terrible Idea!)

Melissa Rosenberg has got to be the happiest lady in the Twi-verse. She has just signed on, according to E! Online, to pen the screenplay of the final “Twilight” novel, “Breaking Dawn” — which, by the way, we still don’t know if it’s going to be in one or two movies.

According to E!, when they spoke to Melissa last week, she said “everything was still up in the air,” but their “Twilight” insider said Melissa's deal is done, though Summit has returned to the idea of splitting “Breaking Dawn” into two movies.

They do need to make 2 movies out of the book Braking Dawn. there is way to much in the book to only make one movie. and where the first movie should start is the wedding and end at the part where bella runs in rose's arm's at the air port. 2nd Braking Dawn movie should star at the air port and end with the part where Bella let's Edward see in here head for the first time at the end of the book. and then if we are LUCKY SM will write another book to the saga where Jacob and Nessie and up together and the V-VAMPIRES ( the bad one's lol ) come back and Alice see's them coming to take Nessie and another fight begins.

i will be really upset if they only made one movie out of Drakind Dawn. however I dont see STEPHENIE MEYER letting them only make 1 movie out of the book. this is her baby and she already said she wants Braking Dawn to be made of a two part movie and that she know's where she wants the first BD will start and end and where the 2nd BD will start and end. and really i think it's up to her NOT summit.

I think they need to make 2 movies too. Cauz' if they make only one movie, it will be less details and we'll certainly be disapointed !! But I think the first could finish just after Nessie's birth =)
I'm lOokin 4wrd anyway xDD

Ugh! a two part movie for Breaking Dawn is terrible. That book doesn't have the storyline to pull that off. In my opinion, it was the worst book of the series. I wouldn't mind if they changed and added some things to the movie to make it more interesting.

Well I don't know how they could make a 2 part movie of it. The movie becomes boring (impossible with edward), the storyline will get boring if it gets split somewhere.
But it can't be pushed into a 2 hour movie. I'm thinking a 3 hour movie. That must be enough.
I mean if they can make an horrible movie (funny people) last for like over 2 hours of boringness. They can sure enough make one of the best books in the world into a 3 hour during movie.
I would like 2 movies though, cause then we can see them on big screen again. And I wouldn't mind more Edward time!! :-) But I think 2 movies is too long for Breaking Dawn. Although something in me hopes there will be 2.

Well, I think it would be best for 2 movies... but for this to work out.. they would need to film both movies at the same time kind of how Lord Of the Rings was made... so they the actors wont look that different in age ect.... would do some good.

People, think: Lord of the rings. It had alot of details. They can make Breaking Dawn into a 3hour Movie, no FAN would object. ( they can just charge a little more- Summit is just worried they won't make as much money, if they release 1 film). IF you've read it right Eclipse and Breaking dawn will be a year apart in theaters. So I Imagine BD 1 & BD 2 will most likely be a minumum of 6 to 8 months apart. A maximum 8 to 12 months apart. who could wait that long. Eclipse june 2010 - Breaking dawn pt 1 june 2011- Breaking Dawn pt.2 June 2012. The last 2 dates are RIDICULUS. It should be 1 FILM - 3HOURS- APRIL 2011.

Make it into two movies, absolutely! AND make sure they are long enough for each one to flesh out the story! I'm quite sure NO real fan would object to sitting there for two & 1/2 or more hours - as long as the movie is good and stays true to the book! Honestly, it seriously needs an R rating...the book is a much more mature telling than the first three to begin with, and they will have to make it that much more visually...
