'Twilight' Scribe Will Return To Pen 'Breaking Dawn' & Summit Still Might Make It A Two-Parter (Our Take? Terrible Idea!)

Melissa Rosenberg has got to be the happiest lady in the Twi-verse. She has just signed on, according to E! Online, to pen the screenplay of the final “Twilight” novel, “Breaking Dawn” — which, by the way, we still don’t know if it’s going to be in one or two movies.

According to E!, when they spoke to Melissa last week, she said “everything was still up in the air,” but their “Twilight” insider said Melissa's deal is done, though Summit has returned to the idea of splitting “Breaking Dawn” into two movies.

Two films...back to back - NOT drawn out over a two to three year period either!

I might lose interest if I have to wait until 2011 and 2012 for Breaking dawn. One long movie!

ok look at it this way. dont you want to see Edward and Bella get married then see jacob there all pist off??? then see Edward BITE the piloow after the first night with bella lol??? you no what im talking about.
then they find out she is with baby??? well just all that alone is ganna take up so much of the first movie.
the 2nd movie will be with Edward worried about Bella because he dont no whats ganna happen when the baby is ready to brake out of Bella. then theres Jacob still trying to save Bella and his pack wanting to kill her because of the baby because they dont no what it is. then jacob inprints on the baby then you have the Volturi that comes to kill them all and bella turning into a vampire. LIKE HELLO how could they put that all in one movie. I dont no about you but i want to see as much as i can out of the book. i dont mind waiting because theres so much in the DB and it is the biggest book out of all of them. i want them to get it right. i no theres parts in the book that seem to drag out but really when you think about all that happens in that book theres no way one movie will do.

I think it's best if it's only 1 movie. Don't get me wrong I would love any excuse to stare at Edward and Taylor. I think only Twilight fans will appreciate 2 movies. The rest of the public who are not huge fans will want 1. A fan can appeciate all the details but they are really not necessary for the rest of the public.

I agree tha it should be broken down to two movies. There are just to many details that would be left out it were to be made into 1. In My opinion I think the first one should start just like the book getting ready for the wedding and end with the birth of renesmee. well right when jacob imprints on her and you here bella's heart start to beat. than the second one start with bella's heart beating again and her changin into a vamp than ending with edward hearing what she is thiking and kissing in the bedroom with the sun fading over the pond in the back through the window. haha sounds like a good break down to me. if they have to take out most of the book just to cut it into 1 movie it will be a huge dissapointment!~

I think two movies would be best because there is so much information in the book to cover, and it would be exremely hard to cover everything in a two hour movie. Plus, it would be more to look forward to.
