'Twilight' studio Summit UNLIKELY to merge with Lionsgate
Long and short of it: according to Entertainment Weekly, the merger talks between Summit and Lionsgate took place before Twilights release. And now that Summit has a hit on it's hands (and a huge money making franchise) they will be going it alone, for now.
