Twilight's composer returns for Breaking Dawn Part 1 & Part 2 score!

The Playlist reports:

Coen Brothers and Spike Jonze regular collaborator Carter Burwell is set to return to the ‘Twilight’ since working on the first film to perform scoring duties for the final installment of the series, the two parter “Twilight: Breaking Dawn.”

Burwell has an existing relationship with the director of the final two parts, Bill Condon, having collaborated on “Kinsey” and “Gods And Monsters” and will return to the position after Alexandre Desplat followed him for “New Moon” with Howard Shore stepping in for “Eclipse.” Shooting began this past November with all major cast members such as Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner, Dakota Fanning, Michael Sheen, Anna Kendrick and Ashley Greene reprising their roles. The two parts will be shot as one project and will then be respectively released on November 18th, 2011 and November 16th, 2012. And in case you haven’t do so already, check out Burwell’s score for “True Grit,” it’s ace.

OMG seriously?! He did such a wonderful job on Twilight. One of the things I missed in future movies was the music on the score. So excited he is back!

My first choice would have been Desplat who did NM, but my second choice was Burwell.  Hope to see Bella's Lullabye return with the scene in BD when Bella returns home from meeting with Jenks and Edward is playing her lullabye on the piano as she enters the house.  That was one of my favorite scenes and with Burwell back on the score, let's hope they do that.

I was hoping Alexander Desplat would come back. I thought the New Moon was the best out of the three.

Good, I love this. I really like the work he did for Twilight. The score is really great I keep listening to it. And I think he´ll probably bring some Twilight into Breaking Dawn, and that´s good. The score really feels like Twilight to me, mysterious and hypnotic and romantic...
