As we await the June 1st release of Snow White And The Huntsman, let’s get to know the characters, shall we?

One in particular I adore is Queen Ravenna (played by Charlize Theron).  I don’t believe we’ve seen a villain of this magnitude in a long time.  In fact, I haven’t been this terrified of a magical witch/monarch since 1959′sSleeping Beauty.

What we learn about Queen Ravenna is that while she will use any means possible to stay forever young, there is purpose behind all that youth-sucking.  Ravenna is trying to stick around to avenge her own family, who were brutally killed by other kings and kingdoms.
