"With Kristen Stewart starring as Joan Jett in the upcoming biopic The Runaways, many have wondered if she has the singing chops to pull off the role.
Perhaps some clues might be provided in this clip from the 2007 biographical drama Into the Wild, in which she plays aspiring warbler Tracy Tatro. Though the mellow acoustic number that K-Stew performs is a long way off from "I Love Rock N Roll," it does give some indication of Stewart's vocal prowess.

She sing very good, i hope that in the runaway movie will be awesome, but i don't know how will sing rock songs

I think Kristen's good but that was a few years ago. I think it's gotten better ! SO PEOPLE DON'T COME DOWN ON HER !!! People can be so rude sometimes.

OMG SHE IS SO ADORABLE WHEN SHE SINGSSS, I LOVE HER VOICE ITS SO SOOTHING AND INNOCENT ..ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT.. SHE IS REALLY GOOD I THINK SHE SHOULD RECORD A SONG WITH ROB I WONDER HOW THAT WOULD COME OUT =D

Yeah, she reminds me a bit on Rob...She has this really sweet, soft voice, so I don't know what The Runaways will be like for her...

I read recently that she loves to act more than anything in the world and that she takes every role she gets very, very seriously; therefore, i believe she will do her very best, which happens to be amazing in my mind.
