Walmart update!!

In this previous post, I showed you a little of what the plans were for 24 hour walmarts (Only supercenters, apparently). Last night, I had a friend of mine, and fellow Twifans.com member, Stephanie, take a few photos to show everyone. They are below, so please enjoy (I will try to tell you what all is going on in them, not that ya need it)

Ok, in this photo, you can see the cardboard cut outs they are using to show where the merch is going to be. Those are some of the cutouts that will be raffled off on Friday night/Saturday morning. The TShirts across the top are pretty cool. Some of them you may have seen before, some not. The one just before Bella and Edward (far right) is a photo of the 3 bad vamps and appropriately says, Bad Vamps on it. lol. To the far left, you will see a lot of empty hooks. That is for the stuff being reserved until Friday (buttons, jewelry, tattoos, etc).

This one is pretty self explanitory. These are the shirts in full. I apologize for the blurriness, it was done with a cellphone and fairly quickly. You will notice there are two shirts that are on two different hangers, well, they are just filling space for 2 OTHER shirts we haven't gotten in yet. The white shirt Just says Twilight, btw. The Twilight shirt with the cool little design in the middle, has a photo of Edward's face right in the middle of the chest.

and finally...

This is the end feature with the TV that plays the bonus dvd goodies. Underneath the TV are 2 walmart exclusive posters. The one on the left, that you have seen in regular poster format (without script) is a door poster (It is VERY long). The one on the right, is the actual DVD cover. The door poster is about $7 and the DVD cover is $5.

On the same note as this, the TV that is playing the bonus DVD, mentioned in this post, is now playing a DVD that I don't think is available to the public (or it is just a promotional version). I passed it several times last night and it was playing things I hadn't seen, including a live performace of Supermassive Black H*** by Muse and a behind the scenes look at Paramore doing Decode. It's REALLY awesome..

Believe me when I say, there is much more to come!! As soon as we get it set... you will see it.

ETA: As a little FYI, the Twilight Director's Notebook that usually sells for $17.99, is $9.00 on Walmart.com. Just thought I would share sine that is a significant price difference. :)
