What do you want to know directly from Stephenie Meyer?

Twifans.com was chosen to interview "the goddess of Twilight" Stephenie Meyer herself. She wants to know that dedicated fans get their questions answered. We have started compiling questions and we want our members to help.

The questions have to be about these 2 subjects only Eclipse the movie and the Bree Novella.

If we end up using your question during the interview we will credit you in our article! So make them good...

I have been reading The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner, and it is amazing!!! I love how it's so distinct and different from the rest of the books, but still the same Twilight we know and love. You can definitely tell that the point of view has changed, I love it. I've noticed that really good books have a distinct feel to them throughout the whole thing. I love how this one has a completely different feel. The way Stephenie Meyer captured that feel, and made it known that Bree has such a different mind than Bella is just beautiful.

So I guess my question is, how did the lovely SM do that? Does she even realize how wonderful she did with that aspect?

and I love the character of Diego, kind of easy going and slightly goofy at times, but still very serious, calm, deep, and smart.

and another thing I would love to know from Stephenie M. is how she balances normal life with friends and family, and all of this. It must be hard. Thank you for taking the time to answer some of our questions Stephenie!!

p.s. I'm probably one of the younger fans. I'm 12 now, but I was 10 when I started reading Twilight :) I write my own fantasy stories now, because SM has inspired me. Thank you so much for everything. :)

Sorry if these questions have been asked already, there are way too many comments to read through to figure it out. Anyway, I just finished the Bree novella and have a few questions about that.

Could you please explain in more detail Fred's "talent"? I know his power is to repulse people, but how does he do this? Is he aware of his power all along and can he control it (it seems like at the end, at least, he does)? Why is Bree not as affected--can he choose who to affect? Also Raoul's power is only mentioned briefly. How does it come into play in the newborn society? Finally, were there any other newborns who had powers that weren't mentioned? Bree? Diego?

Why did Bree/the Cullens not try to fight more to keep her alive? Jane said all those who break the rules must be punished. As far as I could see, she never did break the rules though. She hunted inconspicuously, she never revealed herself to humans in the daylight, she didn't even participate in the fight against the Cullens. Couldn't Aro have just touched her and found that she was innocent? I know the Volturi are somewhat corrupt, but this seems a little over the top, even for them.

NOw that I've finished Bree, I have a couple more q's...

1) Do you think the Cullens cross paths with Fred at some point in the future?
2) Given that vampire talents are subtle in the human life, what does that say for Fred? Was he stinky or what?
3) Why was Bree so calm about her imprending doom? Other than Diego having gone before her? I suppose she didn't have much room to worry to much about afterlife with all her other worries and perhaps believed in that?

I really want to know Diego's last name so I can tack it onto the end of Bree's and draw hearts around it <3

Movie Bella is pretty different from book Bella. She's s tougher, less emotional, never cries or as fearful as book Bella gets. Movie Edward is different as well, especially in NM as he wasn't as protective of Bella in either the papercut scene or the volturi scenes. This is a little disappointing to me. Does this, or any other aspect of the conversion to the movies bother you?

My questions is in Bree's book why when Bree is talking about Edward does she refer to him as the red head?

I wanna know what the diamond thing is in Eclipse. After Bella agrees to marrying Edward and the next day Alice says something like "he's already got one diamond on you, what's a few more-" but she gets cut off and then it's never explained further
