Little did I know Easter weekend with the family was going to completely crack me up. Pictured above is my niece and she is 9. She knows what a "Twilight freak" I am so she wanted to talk to me all about it when we were alone. The first night she was out with me she wanted to make sure that I knew that she had seen the movie. It was important to her that I specifically knew this. She also told me it scared her a little. I looked at her parents and said, "it's pg-13 for a reason". My niece said before anyone could jump into the conversation, "but Aunt Alison I had to see it". Her mother gave the see what I told you look and I just smiled. Later the little 9 year old (going on 15) said, "Aunt Alison can I have a Twifans"? Meaning, can she have a Twifans membership with her own page. I said, "no honey you are too little for that". She was down but by no means giving up. Then the Easter bunny really fanned the flames by giving her, her own copy of Twilight on DVD. You can see by the picture above that she was most excited about that....and the bubbles she got in her basket but mostly Twilight.
