Why my Hot Topic Twilight DVD Party Sucked!!!

Please take note that Hot Topics products are my favorites. But the "party" was not a party. I was a forced shopping trip with a rude "manager" telling us what to do and where to go like cattle being herded. The best part of the night was meeting Twilight girls from Gilbert!

Hi Danielle, Dominique, Ashley, Alisha!! And the 3 girls who I didn't get the names of but I knwo from somewhere. I will post my pictures from the event in the AM.

I'm going to make a blog about it in a few minutes with pics. At least we got the DVD though! That's what matters in the end. Hopefully our New Moon experience will be better!

The Hot Topic party here was pretty great... we have an amazing store whose staff is always super stoked about the midnight parties. Maybe you will win the Taylor poster and it will be a wee bit better :)

I GOT TO MEET RACHELLE and there was cake, drinks, sandwiches and awesome prizes ! When we were standing in line they brought drinks around to us and had people go around doing trivia were they gave out bracelets and little Twilight things !
I'm sorry you had an awful time but NOW WE ALL KNOW WHERE TO GO NEXT TIME thanks for sharing we all appreciate it very much !

Comment by Frances on April 9, 2009 at 9:28pm: Ugh..mine was awful too. We stood in line for an hour..then they let us in the store for 20 mins to shop. I felt like I was forced to buy something. So I bought a 6 dollar slap bracelet. They did 2 triva questions..then me & my hubby were so bored we went and sat in the dvd line for another hour. Thank God we had just been to the Borders, because we started reading our books!! LoL!! Then when Midnight finally hit..allllllll the girls screamed and it echoed in the empty mall. But at least the checkout was speedy. I wish I had gone to Borders instead. It looked like they were having fun. Plus, it was pretty fun when they had the Breaking Dawn party.
