Will RPatz be nominated for a Oscar for his role in Water for Elephants?

Entertainmentwise.com reports:

"Despite only finishing filming a few months ago, Robert Pattinson's performance in Water For Elephants could, according to his co-star, land him an Oscar nomination.

Rob's co-star,Christopher Wlatz who won an Oscar for Best Supporting Actor for his role in Inglorious Basterds earlier this year, has heaped high praise on his young co-star.

According to MTV, when asked where he keeps the iconic statue, Christopher replied: “It's in my house, but the way things are looking, I might have to hand it off to Rob next year!”

We won't get to see Rob's performance until April next year and the 24-year-old will have to wait until the following year for possible recognition."

I read also that Angelina Jolie wanted to co-star along Robert because she thinks Robert is the best actor of our generation!! So yes he should win i will vote for Robert every time!! Comment by Marianne on October 20, 2010 at 2:25pm: As I read "Water for Elephants" I was totally captivated by the character "Jacob" and I completely understand why Rob was cast him in that role...he is going to be AMAZING!

In Twilight, Edward was described as "beautiful...like a Greek God..." and then Rob walked into the cafeteria and Edward, as you imagined him, came to life. The same thing is going to happen in "Water for Elephants"...If you haven't read the book, read it!
