Would You Want a Twilight TV Show??

The Twilight Lexicon has some polls running on how true fans feel about the very real possibility for a Twilight TV series.

You should go and vote.

For her column on Movies.com next week, Laura is going to explore the idea of the Twilight TV show. There’s been lots of reporting on this issue here and around the Internet. In all the frenzy, it seems like one very important aspect has been missed which is fan opinion!

Would the fans want a TV show? If they do want a TV show, what should be the focus? Most sites aren’t asking any in depth questions. So now is your chance to be heard.

Comment by EdwardFan on January 21, 2012 at 3:41pm: As for books, of course. I would love Midnight Sun to be completed and at least one more book to tell us what happens with Renesmee and Jacob. As for TV... sure... I would check it out. Twilight sparked so many vampire shows that why not with our characters? The problem is that it wouldn't be Rob, Kristen and Taylor so that may be a bummer.

There is no way that Stephanie is going to write a TV series- she has to many other things she wants to do. If she did the television show we'll never get a chance to have her finish Midnight Sun or even consider writing the other character stories. As much as I'd love to see a movie with Jacob and Renesmee later- Stephanie has not written anything and I'd really don't want to see anyone other than Taylor playing him. These actors are growing up and moving on and frankly- devoted fans that we are, so must we.
