Sometimes,when you love someone,you just gotta let them go.He nagged her like a little puppy(no pun intended lol)

True,she could have found another way.But thats the ONLY time she did that.He,on the other hand,persisted even when he knew she was in love with Edward.When you love someone,you dont keep trying to get them to love you when you know they are in love with someone else.When you love someone as much as Jacob claimed he loved Bella,you have to want them to be happy,even if its with someone else.By him always insisting on persuing her,all he was doing was hurting her--and she let him know that.

That was too soon to know WHO she was in love with.You can't blame her for wanting to know the truth about something so mysterious.And she did flirt with him,but not to manipulate him.She was still trying to sort out her feelings.Even after Jacob knew it was inevitable that Bella would end up with Edward,he STILL didnt give it up

But thats just it,Bella never was in love with him.You don't have to SHOW someone who they are in love with,they just know it.And Bella made it clear who she was in love with.And like I said,sometimes love means NOT doing something when you know it will put that person in danger--even if its something they really want.Its not that she never gave him a chance,she didn't want to lead him on.Leading him on would only hurt him worse in the end when she marries Edward.She cared about Jacob too much to do that to him.She loved Jacob,but she wasn't IN love with him

Love is about doing whats BEST for the person you love,And Edward did that more than Jacob did
