i 100% agree with that!
without jacob, there really is no plot for the saga i mean, if there was no jacob
a) bella would have might not quite realized what edward was, thus, not evolving the story any further
b) the series never would have continued after book one even if bella DID happen to figure out edward's secret cuz she wouldn't have gotten in deep with jacob and not jumped off the cliff. not jumping off the cliff would have then not been seen in alice's vision thus making edward not have called and alice not to check up on bella and so on and so forth.
the nerve of people who hate characters!
i don't even hate RENESMEE and i am a HEEUGE jacob fan.
without these characters, the story would be nothing.
