Hi. I'm commenting back on the comment on this post. Melissa Rosenburg's scripts are good, but what I was saying that they aren't great. I look at them from an artistic point of view and I compare them to other scripts I have read. I do not agree with her and the producers choices to cut out scenes that are important to the future movies. She also writes things flatly. No detailing is involved with the script-- trust me, I know. I've read each of the first three scripts.
But these scripts are still good. They still are funny. I just think that the producer's choice for a screenwriter was a wrong one. There is so much potential to the books that it is hard for me to fathom how much was lost in the adaptation process.
A lot of other fans agree with this, too. Keep that in mind.
